We are a small dedicated team of experienced professional Sound Engineers, PA Systems owner / operators having over 30 years engineering experience in live sound and even many more years being musicians ourselves. We care passionately about what we do and work hard to bring the highest quality we possibly can. We put performance before profit and have invested heavily in a range of small to medium size, professional tour quality, PA systems which we offer along with sound engineering services at affordable prices for;

Location:1800 sq business premises located in Boothtown, Halifax. West Yorkshire. UK.

What we do: We take great care when working with clients and musicians beforehand to identify which of our PA systems and associated sound equipment would meet their specific needs and budgets, whether for gigs, festivals: special events or theatre shows.

We bring equipment to the venue, set everything up, sound check performers, operate equipment and sound engineer throughout the event, then de-rig and remove all our equipment afterwards. We always strive to do so safely, proactively, creatively and efficiently.

Costs: More-so than ever budgets are being squeezed. We aim to be affordable by listening to our clients specific requirements. Prices are always calculated based on venue location, size of PA system required, number of crew required, working hours, travel & fuel, etc. It’s ALWAYS best to talk with us first. We really try to help clients save money by avoiding pitfalls which might otherwise incur unnecessary additional expense. Clients to date; international touring professionals, amateur and semi pro performers, venues, rallies, events companies, organisers, production companies, festivals and special events, theatre shows, one-off band gigs, councils, schools and charities.

Punctuality: We are always punctual, (usually early) and have never once failed to turn up.

Insurance Cover: £5 million Public Liability insurance and £10 million Employer Liability insurance. Copies available on request.

Method Statements and Risk Assessments: Available on request.

PAT testing: All electrical equipment and electrical cables are regularly tested and carry up to date test certifications, copies available on request.

What we don’t do: “Equipment only” dry hire. We can provide interval playlists but we are not dedicated DJ’s or MC’s.

Festivals

Sound Alliance bring extensive knowledge of both analogue and digital sound and lighting technologies having engineered numerous festivals, including; Corporate Festival Harrogate 2022, Golcar Festival 2019 (this being their 5th year with us), IPL World professional pool championships (televised) Bradford 2020. Bowl Up & Sky bike outdoor events / Bradford MBC 2019, Bingley Live at the Hive (4 years), Leeds City Council / Eccup Beer Festival (4 years), Proms in the Park, Cliffe Castle - Keighley. 2018. Tour De France 3 day event - Addingham 2014, Silsden "Diamond Do", Park Resorts Clacton on Sea. (2013 & 2014), Ilkley Festival, Beermonsters MCC & Sewer Rats biker rallies.

Theatre

Numerous Theatre concerts undertaken in Poland, Norway, Eire, Switzerland and many notable theatres throughout the UK including: Edinburgh Playhouse, Sunderland Empire, Liverpool Empire, Bristol Hippodrome, SSE Arena Belfast, St. George's Hall - Bradford, Sheffield City Hall to name but a few. Four years and over 130 shows touring with the Chicago Blues Brothers theatre show for CBB Entertainments Ltd.

Residencies

Former resident sound engineers for Nightrain Music Venue Bradford (1 year), Bronte Blues Club, Keighley (8 years) and Birdwell Venue, Barnsley (4 years).
